Late 90’s teenage idol Britney Spears popularized the song “Sometimes” and credited for her influence in reviving the teen pop music for which she earned the title, “Princess of Pop.” She grew up with a gift in singing and dancing, and started competing in talent shows when she was a kid. Her first single, Baby One More Time became the subject of controversy because of its lyrics and provocative music video of a schoolgirl. However, the attention was a big help as the song hit big, getting the number one spot on the charts and had sold more than 10 million copies when it was released in 1999.
