Helen Keller was an author, political activist, and lecturer. She was the first deaf-blind person to ever earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. The famous inventor Alexander Graham Bell stated his work with Helen was, “more pleasing to me than even recognition of my work with the telephone.” Helen Keller was a deaf-blind author using the braille keyboard to write her books. A true pioneer.
